Premier Soccer (Regional Club Soccer)

The most committed and skilled players gravitate toward premier soccer. While the term "premier soccer" has begun to be used casually in recent years, historically, "premier soccer" was played by regional soccer clubs that brought together the most committed and skilled players from local clubs in a region to train together and play against the most committed and skilled players from other regional cubs.

Washington State Youth Soccer has sanctioned the Regional Club League, "RCL," for these regional soccer clubs in order to foster like v. like competition. MIFC's sister club, Eastside FC, is the only RCL club in the Eastside Youth Soccer Association, which encompasses Mercer Island, Bellevue, and Issaquah. Other RCL clubs in the area include Crossfire Premier, Seattle United, Pacific Northwest Soccer Club, Snohomish United, and FC Alliance.

Eastside FC is based in Preston, Exit 22 off I-90, but offers Mercer Island-based teams for its RCL Juniors Program (U8 and U9) and its U10 Development Program. You can read about our player development process by clicking here.

Eastside FC Junior Regional Club League Winter/Spring League

Does your son or daughter love soccer and want to play more than just a Fall season? Interested in discovering what a Premier soccer environment looks and feels like? The Junior RCL (Regional Club League) with Eastside FC is the perfect place!

Since 1970, Eastside FC has been Eastside Youth Soccer Association's (EYSA) designated Premier soccer club. Following our mission of Building Champions in Life, Eastside FC provides boys and girls a comprehensive pathway for every level of play and commitment. From competing locally in the RCL, through the Sounders FC (Boys) and Reign FC (Girls) Development Academy programs, including participation in youth National Teams, there is an opportunity for every player.

The Eastside FC junior program focuses on teaching U8 and U9 players how to train effectively by introducing them to the five attributes of soccer development: Effort, Attitude, Focus, Commitment, and Sacrifice. Through the Eastside FC junior program, players will learn soccer fundamentals and become more comfortable and confident when in possession of the ball - all while having fun and building relationships with other kids their age.

Eastside FC's professional coaches follow a training curriculum developed in partnership with Sounders FC (boys) and the Reign Academy (girls) that provides a structured environment for youth development. Not only does this allow players to compete and maximize their potential, but also serves to foster a lifelong love for the game.

We offer training in three convenient locations - Bellevue, Mercer Island, and Preston. Games are held on weekends at our beautiful home facility at Preston Park with girls games on Saturdays and boys playing on Sundays.
